Olympics

The London Resilience Team is at the heart of the resilience planning taking place to ensure that London is ready for the Games and any challenges. The UK Government is committed to ensure the Games' safety and security.

Olympics

The London Resilience Team has, on behalf of the London Resilience Partnership, been commissioned to deliver Olympic Resilience in London. This work will ensure that arrangements are in place to provide a resilient and safe London for the duration of the Games by enhancing existing plans, capabilities and procedures to take into account the unique circumstances of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This complex piece of work involves working with the full range of London stakeholders and Central Government as well as the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) and the Olympic Delivery Agency.

The result will not only be safe and secure Games in 2012 but a legacy of robust resilience plans and procedures for the future.
