Commander's Commendation
16 October 2007
London Resilience Team members commended for their work in producing the London Command and Control protocol.
London Resilience Team members Martin Rolston and Doug Massey, have received well earned recognition for their hard work on the London Command and Control protocol.
On 20 September 2007 Chief Superintendent Simon Lewis of the Metropolitan Police Service presented Rolston and Massey with a Commander's Commendation.
Rolston and Massey were pivotal in the coordination and compilation of this important protocol.
The protocol is a true multi agency agreement that required buy-in from all of London's key responding and supporting agencies and organisations.
The London Command and Control protocol was activated by the London Resilience Partnership to respond to the London bombings of 7 July 2005.
