Don't use this in an emergency
That would be too late

Emergencies can affect everyone and response and recovery is only made possible through many different organisations and individuals working together.
To increase awareness amongst London’s stakeholders of the need to ensure London is prepared for emergencies, the London Regional Resilience Forum, through a number of its partners, has supported this campaign to promote the definitive emergency planning website, londonprepared.gov.uk
To help deliver an efficient and appropriate response to a major emergency in the capital, the London Resilience Partnership has further enhanced its website, made available a variety of promotional materials, and has published a number of emergency plans. These plans offer guidance to agencies and set out multi agency frameworks for responding to an incident.
On this website you can also access a wide range of resources including:
- links to case studies on London exercises
- details of which organisations will be involved in specific responses
- register to receive quarterly email newsletters
- download the current London Prepared marketing materials
With over seven million people, London is home to almost 10% of the UK population, and it is vital that London and its people are ready to respond to any emergency whether it be flood, a health pandemic, transportation or industrial accident or any other cause including terrorism, it is vital that London is prepared.
